With family history in the largest cigar brands in Sweden, the Hafströms and the creation of the legendary Grönstedts Cognac in 1846, Johan Daniel Grönstedt had great passion for French beverages with another branch of their family tree holding the Lindqvist family, importers of exclusive wines in the nineteenth century. From this rich history the Boutique Wine Company Bodvár – House of Rosés has been built with a passion to collect the greatest rosé wines from all over the world under one brand and make them available to the discerning customer. They are the world’s only truly specialized Rosé House.
At the heart of the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, the village of Puyloubier has long been a tradition of wine terroir where vineyards and wine have always been important. In this favorable context, the Cave Vignerons du Mont Sainte-Victoire has always worked to produce high quality wines in the purest tradition of Provence rose wines. Thanks to a very favorable microclimate for the cultivation of vines and vineyards facing south on the foothills of the mountain. With 700 hectares and a production of about 5 million equivalent bottles, it ranks as one of the leading producers of the Côtes de Provence.
The vineyard is located in the perimeter of the Grand Site Sainte-Victoire. Aware of this privileged geographical location and caring become of future generations, the Vignerons du Mont Sainte-Victoire embarked on a strong sustainable development policy that emphasises the preservation of biodiversity.
In 2005, the typicality of Sainte-Victoire wine was recognized with the creation of the denomination Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire. The development of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault in this region has enabled the development of rosé wines ideal for gastronomy.
